As we think about back to school, some of us are sending young adults away to college. Have you considered what rights you may or may not have during a medical or other emergency involving your adult children?

Many of us do not realize that once a child turns 18, it is not as easy or simple to see their medical records or manage their affairs in the case of a medical crisis or emergency. Be sure and talk to your young adult children about planning for the unexpected in both of your lives.

It is important that they have someone that they trust able to act for them if they have an emergency. We can help you work together and get important documents in order before everyone heads back to school and  back to campus.  Send an email (Lou@lpowerslaw.com) or give us a call at (330) 302-9270 to learn more.
